Matthew Kidd

President

Matt Kidd is President of Lone Mountain Land Company, as well as a Partner at CrossHarbor Capital Partners.

Matt is responsible for originating, analyzing, and structuring investment opportunities for the firm’s investment funds, and is focused largely on visionary properties, developments, and experiences within Montana. Projects include Yellowstone Club, Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, Moonlight Basin, Montage Big Sky, One&Only Moonlight Basin, Big Sky Town Center, and critical workforce and community housing initiatives. Matt also works closely with the wide range of non-profit organizations that benefit the overall community of Big Sky.

Matt sits on numerous local boards, including Spanish Peaks Community Foundation, Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, the Big Sky Community Organization, and the Elevate Big Sky Committee. Outside of Big Sky, he also serves on the Board of Big Sky Bravery, and the Montana Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to joining CrossHarbor, Matt was Vice President with Rockpoint Land, LLC, the land development affiliate of the Rockpoint Group, LLC, where he participated in analyzing and structuring new acquisitions and managing the firm’s portfolio. Previously, Matt worked in Wachovia Securities’ Real Estate Investment Banking Group, where he executed a broad range of capital raising and financial advisory transactions. Matt received a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Matt is committed to Big Sky and Montana. As a full-time Montana resident, he is here not simply because of the business opportunities, but to engage in the wide variety of outdoor pursuits that exist in a mountain town, and raise a family in this special place.
