In 2021, Lone Mountain Land Company acquired Montana’s Crazy Mountain Ranch, a working cattle ranch set on 18,000 acres. The property features a spectacular mix of mountains, alpine lakes, streams, forests, and wide open spaces, as well as an old west town comprised of historic buildings. While maintaining the current cattle operation, Lone Mountain Land Company is offering a private membership experience that will include lodging, fine food and drink, a wide range of activities and recreation, including an 18-hole golf course designed by renowned architects Coore & Crenshaw. Development at the ranch, such as a new lodge and golf clubhouse, will be limited to the town area to preserve the overall aesthetic of the property.

MEMBER EXPERIENCE

The curated membership experience at the ranch includes horseback riding, hiking, cattle drives, golf, fine dining, fly fishing, snowmobiling, Nordic and backcountry skiing, mountain biking, off-road driving, spa & wellness, ziplining, racquet sports, concerts and events, and more.
