
John Speers
Executive Vice President, Hospitality Operations
John oversees Hospitality Operations of all Lone Mountain Land Company properties, including Moonlight Basin, Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, Crazy Mountain Ranch, Town Center establishments and more. Having worked with some of the top brands in the country, he is an accomplished veteran of the hospitality industry with over 30 years of executive experience leading Five Star Hotel and Resort operations, and world class restaurants.
John brings an exceptional background in luxury operations, having most recently served as Executive Vice President for the Salamander Collection, which entailed overseeing a portfolio of seven hotels, including the Forbes triple Five Star Salamander Resort. Previously positions include SVP of Chatham Bars Inn and Inn at Perry Cabin, Managing Director positions at Faena Miami Beach, The Little Nell Hotel, Residences and Mountain Club in Aspen, Resort Manager for the Four Seasons Jackson Hole, Food and Beverage Director at Four Seasons Chicago, and Executive Assistant Manager of the Ritz Carlton Palm Beach.
Throughout the 1990s, Speers built an impressive career on both coasts, holding senior management roles with Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group in New York City, One Market Restaurant in San Francisco, and Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group in San Francisco.
