Christina Calabrese
Vice President of Design
As Vice President of Design for Lone Mountain Land Company, Christina leads the architectural, interior, site, and landscape design vision for Spanish Peaks’ and Moonlight Basin’s real estate and amenity offerings, while also overseeing vertical project development from concept to construction.
Over the past 10 years, Christina has strived to build a roster of award-winning design teams for LMLC’s efforts in Big Sky, with the goal of creating enduring value for buyers, club and community members, and LMLC’s investors. Christina enjoys working at the intersection of business planning, building innovation, and member feedback to continually bring timely—and timeless—product and amenity offerings. Fundamental to this work is a commitment to mapping, protecting, and enhancing the extraordinary natural environment within which these developments exist, and minimizing the development footprint using time-honored sustainability techniques together with progressive technology. She currently oversees $2B in estimated project costs through the communities’ buildout.
Christina participates in Big Sky’s non-profit and community-oriented initiatives, having previously contributed her design and planning expertise as a board member of the Arts Council of Big Sky, and several task forces and subcommittees of the Big Sky Community Organization; Big Sky Community Housing Trust; and the Big Sky Sustainable Network Organization (SNO), for which she currently serves as a board member.
Prior to joining LMLC, Christina was the Director of Planning & Development at Agora Partners, a real estate development advisory firm based in New York and Los Angeles. Previously, Christina was a Project Manager and Designer at Hart Howerton, an award-winning planning and design firm based in New York and San Francisco. Christina holds a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with a second major in French, from the University of Virginia.
