Krista Traxler

Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales

With a degree from the University of Montana, including studies in Sweden, Krista joined the Yellowstone Club marketing department in 2007, working her way up to Director of Marketing, where she led the real estate marketing effort for more than a decade. In 2020, Krista transitioned to Vice President of Marketing and Sales of Lone Mountain Land Company. Over her tenure with LMLC and the Yellowstone Club, her marketing efforts have been instrumental in driving real estate sales.

Krista has roots going back to homesteaders and entrepreneurs in the early days of Montana. Growing up in Montana made Krista love the outdoors: she’s a runner, camper, rafter, skier, and hunter. Along the way, she’s taken the time to visit nearly 30 countries, but she is always grateful to call Big Sky home. Her travels have made her uniquely qualified to represent the inherent characteristics and appreciation for living in Montana.

At Lone Mountain Land Company, Krista oversees the outward messaging, sales campaigns, visual branding, digital identities, and technological integration of the company’s entities and real estate sales. Marketing spans across departments and Krista works closely with Development, Sales, and Operations. She also collaborates with contracted architects, interior designers, and digital designers. Krista leads by placing trust in her team and reminding them of their value as they merge creativity with deadlines. A seasoned problem solver, Krista works at the interface of LMLC’s outward messaging and local community members, club members, and digital audiences.
